"“I don't keep a good memorie from my first time”
Star2: Hello! Now, he isn't hearing us, Don't you both that Tom always makes jokes from you on the interviews?
Georg: Tom has a special habillity to make me jokes when we are with journalists, but he sometimes has the thing that he deserves!
Star2: Have you some nickname?
Georg: Really not... but the people sometimes call me “Gusti” (U_U I think that this is a wrong ¬¬)
Star2: Which present would you recieve from the next Christmas?
Georg: I wish a convertible Lamborghini.
Star2: You like the luxury, isn't it?
Georg: I have the options to prove the luxury, why not?
Star2: If you don't be musician...
Georg: I started to study for become a dentist, but I left it. And I started psicology, I think that it is very interesting.
Star2: I read that you wanted to enter into the navy. Is it true?
Georg: Yes, but they didn't accept me for medic reasons that form part from my private life.
Star2: Then, we change the topic. What don't you like from your mates?
Georg: Gustav sometimes is silly (xD), Bill is small selfish and Tom... is simply Tom, hahaha.
Star2: If you are in a break elevator, with who would you are?
Georg: With Gustav, because I'm sure that he will take out us before of the emergency team.
Star2: A prank that you always remember from your childhood...
Georg: When I was 8 years old, I was boring with a friend. He started to run and I threw him a piece of wood, and didn't hit him I hit a Mercedes! I went to my house and I was secluded in my room three days!
Star2: And one prank recenter than the back...
Georg: I was with Tom and some friends in a park at night. We set fire to some things, and how the fire was grown we didn't think other think that put off the fire with a deodorant!!(a deodorant? That is so stupid! xD) And clearly, that was a wrong idea and the police came soon. Then, Bill carried with the fault . Because all the people went away, and he was alone there.
Star2: When did you start to smoke?
Georg: My first cigarette was when I was 8 years old. My parents forced me to smoke it for that it didn't like me and for I never started to do it.
Star2: Are you in love?
Georg: I've had a lot of girlfriends, but I don't think that for to talk about love there are to be a month together and, for now, my relations never have been more than three weeks.
Star2: What are you capable to do for a girl that she likes you?
Georg: All.
Star2: How was your first kiss?
Georg: I was 11 years old and I remember that I didn't like so much.
Star2: And your first time?
Georg: I don't keep a good memorie. I wasn't ready. I wouldn't live that moment again.

Yam! No.38 Interview
THEY LOVE AND HATE EACH OTHER!
Exclusively in yam, the kaulitz-twins tell about how bizarre their fights among each other really are and why Gustav and Georg rather tuck tail and run off in situations like that. furthermore, the 4 are talking about their new single & their concert in germany!
The fans are have been waiting for a sign of life from them and here it is! The boys spontaneously invited the Yam to hamburg- and have been showing themselves from a very different side. Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg talk about their plans- private and in their job!
Yam: Bill and Tom, you're 18! what's gonna change for you now?
Bill: we're now not only allowed to drink alcohol and drive cars but we generally got more freedom now. until now, we've been working like grown-ups, earning money and paying taxes but we were never allowed to sign any contracts. hell, i wasn't even allowed to sign my own mobile-phone contract…
Tom: We both have been raised to be very independent and have been standing on our own two feet for a long time but it's something entirely different when you're allowed to decide for yourself for 100%. ever since i was 12 i've been wanting to sue people whenever something pissed me off and now i could! *laughs*
Yam: what's gonna happen in the next months?
Gustav: we're continuing with touring through europe and we're playing gigs in a number of countries. we're also gonna play a concert in germany, on november 4th in essen. that's gonna be the final concert of the "483-europe tour" and on the 19th october, our new single "An deiner Seite (ich bin da)" is gonna be released in germany.
Yam: what can you tell us about the german single-release?
Bill: besides "an deiner seite", there's gonna be a new, not yet released song on the single.
Tom: besides that, there's gonna be a couple of very intimate tour-moments on the single. during the europe-tour, we had a camera team tagging along with us all the time and now we got so much material that we can't put everything onto the DVD. that's why we made two different documentaries- one for the tour DVD and one for the single.
Georg: there's some VERY funny moments on it…
Bill: true! you're gonna see us in all kinds of really different situations- like you've never seen us before. for example while sleeping, freaking out and even me without make-up.
Tom: it wasn't about looking good in that docu- the fans are supposed to see us like we really are. it's like a TH-diary.
Yam: can you tell us a special scene?
Bill: well, there's this one scene in which Tom and i are really fighting.
Tom: well, it's not us fighting but you totally freaking out. as usual, i kept my calm while you're totally losing it and scream at me. i think you even called me "you sick fuck" in front of everyone. (note: the literal translation would be "you sick pig" but it equals "sick fuck", actually)
Bill: *turns red* well, we love and hate each other.
Tom: i think right now i hate you more than i love you though… *both laugh*
Bill: when we were young, we were fighting with each other on a daily basis, we even hit each other with frying-pans once. we only ever stopped when one of us started to cry for real. when we're getting into a fight nowadays, Georg and Gustav usually leave the room.
Georg: nobody can stand to watch the insanity you two are going to each other.
Gustav: *grins* and most of all, stop dragging us into it!
Bill: Tom drives me insane sometimes.
Tom: boy, you're totally mad!
*Bill attempts to look like a mad-man for a second and both start laughing again*

Film:
Tokio Hotel about big loves, flying cars and happy endings. (I think that there is a comma before 'fliegende'. If not, it sounds totally weird to me. :S)
If Tokio Hotel were to shoot a film, which one of them would be the hero and who would be the female heartthrob? What does Tom have to do with Inspector Gadget and why must Bill make secret 'beeps'
Read it yourself to find out why the boys kept laughing during the interview.
If you were to shoot a film, what would it be called?
Tom: We would simply call the film "Tom". That says everything.
Bill: Or "Bill and whatever else that's jumping around" (?? I think I get the gist of what he's saying, but I can't find a good translation of the word 'rumspringt'. Is it colloquial?)
Tom: Or "Bill, Tom, Gustav and the other one." (lol, Tom >.<...)
What kind of film would it be?
Georg: It would be an action-comedy. But more comedy than action.
Bill: It would definitely be funny.
Tom: In my scenes, eroticism would, in any case, play a big part.
Georg: and with Bill the romance. It would be a very deosebit film that no one has ever seen before. A totally new category.
Tom: and it would be, in any case, starting from 21. (Does he mean that people would first need to be over 21 to watch it, or is he referring to Georg?)
When would the film take place?
Tom: In the present
Bill: No, no, no. I love watching futuristic series. I find it cool when the cars can fly and everyone has their own robots.
Tom: Come on, be realistic!
And where would it be shot?
Georg: Anywhere warm.
Bill: On the Maldives, with flying robots and leather jackets. (0.0)
Tom: Warm is important. I could have played well in "The Beach" or in "Baywatch"
Which stars could play your character?
Georg: My role could, of course, only be played by Leonardo DiCaprio or Brad Pitt.
Bill: I want to play my own role. Besides, I don't think anyone would have my hair.
Who would slip into which roles?
Tom: I would most definitely take over the sexual part, and my action scene would be already erotic with me in it. It cannot be done differently at all.
Bill: I bring the romantic part to this porn stuff. And I secretly set music to Tom's dirty place afterwards with a beep. (??)
Tom: and Georg is definitely in charge of comedy
Georg: Gustav is purely drama (?), he would be responsible for the sport scenes and be our stuntsman.
Who would find his big love?
Tom: That would definitely be Bill.
Georg: And Gustav must save her from something. (is it right?)
Tom: And I would be the one who tests whether or not this big love is also good in bed.
Bill: You are so stupid. (haha) One meets his big love only once in his life, if at all. I have, so far, not found my big love yet. And I find it romantic if I could fall in love with a beautiful girl (who also acts in the film) during the shooting of the film. Like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith".
Tom: Brad Pitt can be extra happy that I did not get this role, because then I would have kids with Angelina Jolie now. (O.O")
Who would die for the band?
Georg: Not me.
Tom and Bill shake their heads. (not at Georg, like I thought they were doing, but to say that they would not. sigh.)
Gustav (finally!): I see that I would have to take over then, but I would gladly sacrifice myself for the others... (aww!)
Bill: In any case, no animals would die in my film, it always make me so sorry.
Who would be the hero who fights against the bad guy?
Georg: That would be me.
Bill: Me. And if I could have a superpower, I want to fly. Then I can go everywhere in a short time and not fly the plane and go through security checks anymore, which I hate.
Tom: Rubbish! Only I can have a superpower.
Gustav: Exactly Tom, but you would be like Inspector Gadget, only you have no gadgets without dreads coming out of your head.(??)
Who would be your enemy?
Bill: The bad guys would be represented by the record company or the media representative.
Who would get a guest role?
Georg: vin Diesel and Til Schweiger.
Bill: Angelina, Angelina, Angelina! and the Olsen twins.
Tom: but then Til would certainly snatch my Angelina..
Which bands are so cool that you would allow them to be on the soundtrack?
Bill: Coldplay and Green Day
Tom: Metallica.
Georg: AC/DC, but only if they report (play?) together with the Rolling Stones.
Would the film have a happy ending?
Bill: I hate films that are open (inconclusive maybe?). It really makes me sick , I sit there the whole time and wait, and everyone argues about what happened as everyone has a different opinion. (is it right?) I myself wish for a sad end, that changes shortly (to a happy one, I suppose) before it finishes and then all is good.
Tom: I am actually flexible about whether or not it has a happy ending. (not really sure if that is actually what it means...) |

Popcorn #10
Wild rumors about Tokio Hotel!
Fights between Bill and Tom! Tokio Hotel are going to America! They will only sing English from now on! There are many rumors out there about Tokio Hotel. Popcorn checks the facts…
Are Bill and Tom fighting with each other?
Rumor: More and more often you see the twins traveling separated from each other, on pictures from them together they don’t seem happy…
Fact: Bill and Tom are getting along just fine and there is no fight. The separated travels are because Bill as lead singer is in the studio alone very often to sing the English songs. And people shouldn’t pay to much attention to the pictures with grumpy faces. Everyone has a bad day now and then.
Tokio Hotel won’t sing German anymore?
Rumor: After the big success of there English album “Room 483” there will only be English after this.
Fact: Wrong! The next album will be German again. Bill: “we are planning to release a German and English on the same day!” German fans can buy both on the same day together. According to the record company the new album is already a work in progress. After the French tour the boys wanna go into the studio to work on the first songs.
Are the boys going to America?
Rumor: In June the four were in New York and signed there US-Record deal. The single “Monsoon” will be released in October and in November the boys will tour in the US.
Fact: There really have been meetings in New York but nothing is certain yet. A decision will be made in the next few weeks. Fact is: If the boys would go to America they won’t be back in Germany for a long time. An insider tells: “They would be crazy if they let the big US-market slip through there fingers!”
There will be Tokio Hotel drinks?
Rumor: Pepsi has made a deal with Bill & co. and are –planning to release a Tokio Hotel drink in 2008!
Fact: That’s wrong! Tokio hotel haven’t signed anything with Pepsi. The boys have only claimed the right to the use of there names on products like, Make-up, MP3 player and drinks. It is very well possible they will bring something like that on the market in the future.
Tokio Hotel will sing for Germany in 2008?
Rumor: TV channel ARD has nominated Tokio hotel to represent Germany in the 2008 European song contest!
Fact: Tokio Hotel is a hot candidate because of there European fame. In the beginning of 2008 there will be decided who will go for Germany. Bill & co. haven’t responded to this news yet. An online petition is supporting the boys going to the European song contest:
www.schickt-tokiohotel-zum-grandprix.piczo.com
Is Bill gonna release an own fashion line?
Rumor: Bill was wearing an own designed jack a while ago. He was wearing it to the Comet show. Now this jack is going on sale for everyone to buy.
Fact: Correct! The by Bill designed negru hoodie with the star printed on the back will be next item in the TH-fanshop (on the internet: www.deutschrock.de/tokiohotel ) . But there aren’t any more clothes panned yet. Bill: “I have many ideas but just no time to work them out!”
Aren’t Tokio Hotel coming to Germany anymore in 2007?
Rumor: The boys have cancelled all appearances here to come back next year.
Fact: That’s just half true! There aren’t gonna be any live-shows this year but at least 3 TV dates have been confirmed: On 22.9 they will play at the Golden Stimmgabel in Ludwigshafen (aired on 30.9 at 20.15 on ZDF). On 18.10 Tokio Hotel will be a guest at the kids choice awards in Bottrop and on 1.11 they will perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards in München. A real tour will be planned next year
(we all know that they are gonna give concerts in Germany now so this news is not fully up to date, breath people) |

Hello Tokio!
"OKEJ" called Tokio Hotel and talked about Swedish girls, money and crazy fans.
Hey guys, what's up?
Everyone: Very well! We haven't slept so much but we feel good.
How big do you think you'll be?
Bill: I have no idea. I get so surprised all the time. I couldn't even imagine that we would be so big in Germany as we are now.
You were in Sweden for a couple of months ago, what did you thought about the girls?
Bill: We were and signed CD :s and there were a lot of girls there. There were so many with tight clothes and that was a really good first impression, haha!
What do you do with all presents and letters you get?
Bill: Most of the stuff comes to our studio so everything keeps there. Unfortantly we can't read everything but sometimes we do. All toys we get we donate to charity and kids-hospital. We don't use toys.
What is the most craziest a fan to yours did?
Tom: They do so many different things! Some have painted our logo on their car. And sometimes girls climp up at the firestairs to our rooms.
Gustav and Georg, how does it feel about that you don't get as much attention as Bill and Tom?
Georg: No problem at all. Every band has their front person and it is working well.
Bill: From the start we had our roles in the band. It was me and Tom who did all the talking because the others don't like it so much.
Don't you ever fight?
Tom: Oh yeah.
Bill: We like to discuss things and we do it often. If there is one who has another oppinion it could be worse than you thought. But we always solve it in the end.
Which is the stupiest question you've got?
Bill: Oh there's many. I can't just pick one. But I don't like when everyone ask why we call ourselves Tokio Hotel.
What do you do on your freetime?
Tom: I collect stamps and butterflies. Haha!
Bill: Not that much actually. We try to sleep and watch tv. We don't have much free time so we have to sleep to get energy.
Tom: Sometimes we also party.
What do your families think about that you suddenly got so succsesfull?
Tom: They are as surprised as we are. We kind of got more freedom now. But they support us to 100%.
What do you do with all money you make?
Bill: We don't get that much money. People think we get a lot more than we do. But it's good that we don't have to worry about how we should earn some money.
But you must buy something?
Bill: Yeah, something we spend on is vacations. We have so much job so we deserve that.
We asked the guys to explain what some of their hits was about.
Spring nicht:
Bill: It's a song that's about suecide. It means that you should never give up and we wonna give that currage to keep going in life. It's important to never give up. No human should need to finish their life.
Schrei:
Bill: It's about freedom and that you shouldn't hide all your feelings.
You should let go and be who you are. The song means a lot to me because I have always hated to not be able to express my feelings.
Durch den monsun:
Bill: It's a love song about everything you could do to be near the person you want to be near, for example running trough a moonson.
Tom: It's about everything Georg could do for me!
Facts about Bill:
*if he were an animal, he would be a dog.
*the first CD he bought was Nena, The band.
*his favourite movie is The labyrinth with David Bowie.
*when he kiss a girl he has his eyes closed (even if all bills girls is ugly, georg said)
*philosophy is his favourite subject in school.
*he wish he could talk english better.
*he really wanna date one of the olsen twins. |

Tokio Hotel are the biggest band in Germany for the last twenty years selling three million albums in just two years.
They played their first gig in the UK which was a sell out despite virtually no exposure in this country.
With their debut single Ready Set Go due out here in August FemaleFirst is one of the first to interview Tokio Hotel as we caught up with the boys for a quick ten minutes to see how they are coping with their swift rise to success.
How did the band together and why the name Tokio Hotel, does it have a meaning?
Tom: Bill and me used to play music together since we were 9. I played the guitar and Bill sang and played a keyboard, which imitated bass and drums.
Georg: Gustav and I met at music school and became friends. One night we saw Bill and Tom performing in a small club called Grˆninger Bad. It was obvious that they needed help (laughs). So we walked up to them and started talking. Gustav: That’s how everything started
You have become the biggest stars in Germany for the past twenty years did you expect this level of success and how are you coping with your new found fame?
Bill: Are you kidding?! We’re together now for seven years. And all we ever wanted was a record deal. After we met our producers we went into the studio and practiced, practiced, practiced – over 2 years. We thought we would never release a single.
Tom: Then we got our deal and we released “Monsoon” in Germany – nearly 2 years ago. And then everything happened so fast. It was unbelievable. More than we ever dreamed of. And now – after our big success in Germany – it happened in France, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Russia – in so many other countries in Europe. In April we finished our first European tour. I still can’t believe that we’ve really been on a European tour. None of us would have ever imagined something like this would happen.
You have sold 3,5 million records in two years what do you think has made you so successful so quickly?
Tom: That’s hard to answer. We always knew what we wanted to do. We have our own style and it was important for us to do our stuff the way we wanted it. We never gave up and it was a real challenge to be in charge and making decisions. There are always people who want to tell you how everything has to work. But we had our own vision and did it our way.
Bill: I also think you need luck and have to be at the right place at the right time. That happened to us. Also, our fans write us all the time saying that they identify themselves with our songs, because we sing about things, which they experience in their lives and that that’s the reason why we’re so close to them. We share emotions, problems and situations that kids have when they grow up.
The video for your single ‘Ready, Set, Go’ is interesting and really quite dark in places. What was it like to shoot?
Bill: It was a very though shoot. We shot for 25 hours non-stop. The song is about breaking out. It’s about not giving up and not being caught up by fears or by other people telling you what to do. So we choose this video with the “grey” people - as I call them. They gave up their dreams and stopped trying to reach them. When they hear us playing, they break out and leave everything behind them - like us.
You played at the Bastille Day celebrations in France 500,000 people turned up how did you find that?
Bill: It was absolutely amazing. The biggest crowd we ever played for. It was so exciting and special. And it was a huge honor for us as a German band to play at the Eifeltower on the 14th of June! It felt like a “once in a lifetime” gig
Tom: You have to imagine that - even from this big stage – you couldn’t see the end of the crowd. Absolutely crazy!
There are rumors that you are to release a make-up range is there any truth in this?
Bill: There are so many rumors – but this one is new to me.
Tom: I heard about it. But it’s not true.
You gave your first gig in the UK in June how was the response here?
Gustav: It was amazing. Whenever we come to a country I’m always so exited about the fact, that our fans already know our lyrics and can sing along. That happened that night in London as well. And that was special, cause it was the first time, Bill performed the English songs.
Bill: I was very nervous but everything went perfect. The English fans gave a minunat welcome - it was great.
For those who don't know you very well in the UK what can we expect from your album?
Bill: It’s our first English album and it’s called “SCREAM”. Recording it was a very special experience and challenge - especially for me. It’s a mixture of songs from our first and second German album and the songs have been translated into English. So while the others had time off (all of them moaning), because we didn’t need to record the music again - I had to go into the studio and record the songs in English. Since I’m a perfectionist, I wanted the songs to sound like a native speaker would sing them and not like some German trying to sing English. It took me some time, but I’m really happy with the result and I’m very proud that we did the English album.
Tom: There’s one excepÈ›ional thing about the UK-Version, we added two extra songs - “Life Every Second” and “Raise Your Hands”.
Did you write the album yourself and if so who is your musical inspiration, who do you admire?
Bill: We’re working with 4 producers. I’m writing the lyrics, the boys do the music. And our producers come along with their ideas. We work on everything together so it’s a team process and everybody is involved.
Tom: The four of us listen to very different types of music in our private life. With Tokio Hotel we always wanted to find our own style – the music we play with Tokio Hotel is the result and you could call it our common ground – musically at least (laughs). We all have musicians and bands we like and respect, but we never had idols or wanted to sound like somebody else.
Have you any plans for more gigs in the UK?
Georg: Sure, we would love to come back and play in the UK! That’s what we’re all about: playing live and having a great time with our fans. It’s all we’re living for and why we’re became musicians.
And what about America?
Tom: We love to travel, get to know new countries and meet new fans. Whenever we get to know that there a fans in a country, we haven’t been to yet, which are in to our music, which like us and really want to see us live, we go there to meet them. |

Interview in the mag. TOPP.
It's a extreme security around the four german boys when we meet them right outside of Londons heart. In the reception we're being picked up by a strict security guard that asks us many questions, to check that we're really from TOPP and not some hysterical fans that tries to get in. Outside the boys hotel room, there's two more guards. There wasn't even a smile from the guards, its very serious work to guard the, currently, four most popular boys
finally in the hotel room, there is four happy guys waiting for me: Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav - and two translators. The boys don't speak english.
We get many mails and letter about you guys every week - You obviously got many eager fans. Whats the sickest thing a fan have done for you?
-Haha, that a looot, grins Tom. Not long ago a fan bought a star for us and named it Tokio Hotel. The star is probably the sickest thing we've ever gotten. Besides that we get a lot of songs, poems and used and new underwear from girls...
-Now we're on to that... Does anyone of you have any girlfriends?
-No, we're all single!
-But you are looking...?
Tom:- We travel a lot and don't really have time for girlfriends, but sure, we are looking. We play for cute girls every day and off course you ask yourself the question if your dreamgirl is somewhere in the audience.
-So you date fans?
Bill:-Yeah, definitively! I think that would be a great advantage, because then we have the same interest.
-What should your dreamgirl look like?
Tom:- She's gonna have dreadlocks and baggy pants!! No, just kidding, it can be different stuff. The last girl I was with had brown hair, but that was just a random fact.
-Ok, but let me put it this way. If I was gonna go out on a date with you, What would I have to do to impress you?
Georg:- Show up naked!
Tom:- I like to hunt, therefore it's an advantage if you act a bit uninterested.
Georg:- If you act uninterested, and show up naked, then were talking...
Bill:- Be yourself and look cute, that's all I ask for...
Haha, norwegian girls are gonna like this.
-Have you by the way ever been in norway?
Gustav:- no, but you know what? I've dreamt of going there (Norway) ever since I was a kid. i always wanted to go there fishing.
Tom:- I also wanna go to norway and fish! ... but not for fish, grins Tom. Its clear that he is the most girlcrazy of the four. His brother Bill, on the other hand, shows strangely little interest in the subject girls. At home in Germany there have been rumors for a long time that he is gay - this, he has not confirmed ( I actually do believe he has told us fans about this subject like 1000 of times! Jizezchrist! >.<
-You guys travel together all the time - Is there many "fights/arguments"?
Bill:- Not many "fights/arguments", but a lot of discussions. We become very loud when we discuss, it could probably be misunderstood as fighting, but it's not. Thats just who we are.
-How were you at school, was there any discussions there?
Bill:- Believe me, school was the worst time of my life. I was always tired and the teachers hated us because we because we always expressed our opinions.
Tom:- We got good grades, but there probably ain't anyone of us that wants to go back to school.
And finally, we're curious to what you're gonna do when you get home to germany and during the break from touring?
Bill:- Sleep, eat, watch TV...
-How about a fishingtrip to Norway?
Tom:- haha, not impossible! |
